‘Screens’, based on the initiative of Prof. Jeremy Welsh at the Trondheim Academy of Fine Art was in 1997 the official one thousand years anniversary exhibition of the founding of the city of Trondheim.
As I at the time was the director of Trondheim Art Museum we collaborated on producing ‘screens’ for the museum and the Nidaros Cathedral with Welsh being the main curator.
‘Screens’ was together with ‘Elektra’ the year before at Henie Onstad Kunstsenter, Oslo, an exhibition that pioneered investigating the field of art & technology in Norway. Amongst many great artists we were i.e. able to exhibit Bill Viola for the first time in Scandinavia.
